“Alpha Masculinity”

Did Elon Musk plant a thread about how women shouldn’t be allowed to ride horses and then get Twitter to trend it?

Most of the day, “Alpha Masculinity” has been trending on Twitter. It was started by an account that began in August 2021 by the same name. The thread being promoted mostly focuses on how women shouldn’t ride horses, but he throws in “bikes, or bicycles” although I’m not sure what the difference is.

There is no reason this thread should be trending all day. When it first started showing up on Trending it had just over a thousand tweets which wouldn’t move the needle normally.

So why is this totally random parody-level misogynistic thread about women who shouldn’t ride horses trending? Well, you might be shocked to learn that Elon Musk may be involved.

Just now this story came out which details how Elon Musk whipped himself out during a massage and pressured a flight attendant for sex and paid her a quarter million dollar settlement to keep quiet.

What does this have to do with misogynists sexualizing horses? Well, when you look into the story you will see that the woman Musk sexually assaulted — and that’s what it was — rides horses. Musk offered to buy her one in exchange for a happy ending to his massage. Musk was contacted by Business Insider in the last few days, so he knew this was coming out.

Since the day Elon Musk agreed to buy Twitter, the entire platform has shifted to match his personal bigotry and to attack his personal enemies — like Amber Heard, whose abuse by Johnny Depp, and now on Twitter, has been pinned to the top of Trending Topics for nearly a month.

Twitter has handed the keys to Musk to manipulate at will, despite that being literally illegal.

Twitter Needs to Answer for This
Twitter is still a public company, accountable to its shareholders. Since Twitter agreed to do a deal with Elon Musk, however, it has been obviously and despicably manipulated to match his personal desires and predilections. They need to answer for this blatant corruption in corporate headquarters…

PS This is pathetic. All it does is allow Twitter to censor whoever it wants “in a crisis.” Since the company is now being run by Elon Musk, this should not give anyone comfort.

PPS Speaking of “Alpha Masculinity.”

PPS Twitter couldn’t prevent the story from trending but they are making it trend as “SpaceX” in between a pinned Amber Heard story by Twitter and an inauthentically amplified Amber Heard abuse thread.

If said it before and I'll say it again Musk is nothing more the worlds 2nd richest internet trolI (Putin being number #1).

I read Musk and Twitters merger agreement (Form 8-K). The merger agreement between Elon Musk and Twitter has NO "Temporary Hold Clause" (which I didn't think was a thing).

Tweeter's 5% bot claim has been in their security filings since 2014, with a footnote that the figure was just an estimation and could be larger. Even if Twitter has ~30% bots it would not violate the Material adverse change (MAC) clause which holds thresh hold of -40% evaluation of a companies claimed revenue. So Musk could back out of the deal a have to pay a $1 Billion fee, or Twitter could force Musk to acquire Twitter if Musk is able to secure the financing/loans. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1418091/000119312522120474/d310843ddefa14a.htm

Why I never set foot or finger on Twitter. It's just too toxic.
