Your optimism is admirable as we are surely overwhelmed. However, "unwinding fifty years of infiltration is going to take time but we have to start somewhere," and that fight should have started 49 years ago but Democratic politicians spend too much time virtue signaling what good Christians they are rather than what good fighters for democracy they are and now we all are living the results. The right has also won the communications war with two information bubbles today both owned by the billionaire set with only one halfheartedly promoting democracy as long as it doesn't create any tax hikes or public safety inspired regulations that might result in a slight loss of corporate profits. The high court will now continue to destroy what's left of the separation of church and state and brave Democrats like Pelosi will "pray for them" and wonder why we never seem to win anymore. Now it's all up to the young people, the new majority, if they can get off their phones long enough to stop being manipulated by social media so they can form some independent thought.
