Kremlin Propaganda: The Calm Before the Storm is Upon Us

I recently wrote about the archive of Kremlin propaganda found by Jack Bryan and how it showed pre-knowledge of “Q” in 2001 and helped push it from day one in 2017.

Fossilized Kremlin Psyops
Yesterday, my friend Jack Bryan, director of the incredible podcast American Psyop sent me a website that I hadn’t seen — “Rumor Mill News.” This innocuous sounding website turned out to be, as Jack said, “like finding a fully preserved T-rex” of Kremlin propaganda…

But there is another event in the lore of QAnon and associated cults that has never been explained. On 10/5/17, Trump gathered some of “his generals” for a photo op and said “this is the calm before the storm.” Twice.

This might be dismissed as merely the orange dotard doing orange dotard shit. But the Kremlin propaganda network instantly jumped on this and repeated “the calm before the storm.” Here’s Kremlin propaganda website whatdoesitmean.com about 12 hours later.

Another big push to publicize “the calm before the storm” came from “Zero Hedge” which published a long, fawning article about it. Here’s Kremlin propaganda website Rumor Mill News promoting it.

Here’s the article in part.

The thing about Zero Hedge is that it’s Kremlin doomsday propaganda.

The United States Government identified Zero Hedge as publishing articles “created by Moscow-controlled media” last year.

The phrase “calm before the storm” became a slogan of QAnon and metastasized into other phrases using “The Storm.”

For example, here’s Kremlin QAnon propagandist Ann Vandersteel five days before 1/6 repeating a common variation of the phrase indicating it’s time to murder Democrats. “The Storm is Upon Us.”

And here it is trending today, because Roger Stone asked the question: “What should Trump’s first tweet be?”

Of course “Q” started adopting “calm before the storm” almost as soon as it started.

When Mike Flynn employee Tracy Diaz moved “Q” from 4chan to 8chan, the board it moved to was called CBTS or “Calm Before The Storm.”

Here’s insurrectionist Ali Akbar Alexander saying “the storm is here” to cheers from the crowd on 1/5/21.

“The Storm” is a meme concocted by Americans with the help of the Kremlin designed to give cult members an excuse to engage in white nationalist violence. Donald Trump provided the “proof” the conspiracy was real by calling his weird, unnecessary press conference. It led to QAnon and ultimately the insurrection.

Finally, I will simply note that Kremlin propaganda is bad no matter where it comes from.

Refocus on the issues at hand.

Greetings Jim:

I feel as if this has been talked about in past emails. Even so, we Democrats must not get involved in interparty issues. Doing that only encourages our opposition in their fervent need to disrupt and cease the functioning government. What also must be done is to always show a united front. Believe it or nuts, the Republican Party even today shows a united front in their commitment to chaos. Something we do not need now, or ever. I mention this considering the recent planting of classified documents in President Joe Biden’s public and private residences. And it is a planting of documents, for anyone with a brain to see. I would not be surprised if this issue forces the hand of Pres. Biden to be considered unfit to continue his presidency. In an ironic echo, Pres. Biden who is a Catholic in the Vatican II mold is in his 3rd year of his presidency; not unlike Pres. John F. Kennedy, a fellow Catholic, who was murdered in the 3rd year of his presidency.

To list President Biden’s accomplishments, along with that of his administration and Democrats and independents nationwide in the last 3 years, would take several emails. Nonetheless, and I will admit to sounding like one of those GQP supporters; other people with different agendas are considering that Pres. Biden has outlasted his usefulness. As we have seen these past few years, there is a playbook at hand. It starts with the reveal of nefarious activity amongst Republicans and the abject failure of the political establishment to seek the dismissal and /or abject humiliation of said Republican. It then happens that a similar action, real or imagined, has been taken by a Democrat of higher importance. Thus, the nefarious activity of the Republican is lessened if not dismissed and the Democrat’s issues are given attention not sought nor warranted. Investigations against the Republican, should there be any, are minimized and the Democrat’s investigations are given more attention with immediacy and calls for something to be done; usually with fellow Democrats leading the charge. At the insistence of fellow Democrats and news journalists to decide that someone must fall on their sword to show that we are above the fray, the Democrat either resigns or takes the dive in a reelection bid. Most times the successor is a fellow Democrat that is supposed to be lower key and less active in leadership. Exceptions are made, but they are few.

Who benefits each time? Not us. The Republicans gain, especially if certain Republicans take the side of the Democrat In question. I am still amazed that few Democrats supported Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) in the baseless private accusations against her in 2019 (yes, I know they invited her back to the 2020 State of the Union address) and yet Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), an unmitigated piece of filth, stood up for Rep. Hill. The response from her old district was to elect the next special election a Republican who is still active in Congress. Indeed, more Republicans have taken pity and/or sought the advice and consul of Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) than Democrats outside New York. A clear indication of what may happen when cancel culture is not focused and seeks purity or lack thereof as a means of cancellation.

You know this already. This cycle of maximizing the immaterial issues of Democrats and minimizing the consequential issues of Republicans and religious leaders needs to be broken. Go after these detractors and usurpers. Make it known that one side of the political spectrum is willing to govern and has results to prove their impact and benefit for the people. Most importantly, always show the hypocrisy of the other side. We cannot be seen as the political equivalent of the Washington Generals when we know we are the political equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters. We can start by supporting Pres. Biden in these times. Begin with that, and the rest of the benefits will follow.

Now our struggle is for genuine equality, which means economic equality. ... What does it profit a man to be able to eat at an integrated lunch counter if he does not earn enough money to buy a hamburger and a cup of coffee? - Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Best Wishes and Kindest Regards,

Robert Kelly

I have posted several comments about this extraordinary event and was always shocked about it being completely ignored by the msm.
