Truly disturbing ad but I'm sure it's covered under "free speech" as hate speech is now our most precious and protected commodity in a Christofascist world. It's not hate speech if it's supporting Christian biblical values that are protected under our new religious freedom protection legislation. Disagreeing and criticizing with the right will soon be the only form of "hate speech" severely punished. We are moving into the kind of "Hate Week" exercises Orwell foresaw in "1984" and what is so beloved by lying Trump.

I really don't think anything can stop a full fascist takeover. I don't mean to be hopeless, but I just don't see anything like a proper response from anywhere in government. I have picked now of all times to watch "Schindler's List." And you know, I just think it's nearly impossible for a "normal" person to wrap their head around the potential of sadistic fascists to inflict pain. It's like trying to imagine our own death. Our minds are just not capable of grasping it. So we sound the alarm, wring our hands and experience passing anxiety, but we just can't imagine someone coming to our door and informing us that they are taking our house and relocating us to a ghetto. Or we can imagine it, but we don't really feel it, or deeply fear it.
